How it works
Enter your venue details and capacity. Our compliance wizard walks you through the mandatory vulnerability assessment — access points, emergency procedures, threat checklists. Plain language, no jargon. Most venues complete this section in under 20 minutes.
Once the assessment is complete, SafeHall generates your official compliance certificate, a downloadable security plan PDF, and an embeddable badge for your website. Every document is traceable and legally defensible.
SafeHall monitors your training expiry dates and annual review deadlines. Automated reminders mean you never fall out of compliance without warning. One subscription covers the whole year.
Legal Requirements
The Standard Tier requires documented procedures covering all four areas. SafeHall ensures every one is covered.
Getting people safely out of the premises during an emergency — the primary procedure required by law.
Moving people safely inside to protected areas when external conditions make evacuation dangerous.
Securing the premises to prevent the entry of a threat. Includes door protocols and communication chains.
Alerting all people on the premises to act — whether that means evacuating, sheltering, or standing by.

FAQ
The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 — named after Martyn Hett, killed at the 2017 Manchester Arena attack — requires publicly accessible venues to take proportionate protective steps. It received Royal Assent on 3 April 2025.
If your venue has a public-facing capacity of 200 or more, you must comply with the Standard Tier. This includes registering with the SIA, completing a vulnerability assessment, documenting procedures, and ensuring staff training.
Evacuation (getting people safely out), Invacuation (bringing people safely inside), Lockdown (securing the premises against a threat), and Communication (alerting everyone on site). All four must be documented.
The Act received Royal Assent on 3 April 2025 with a minimum 24-month implementation period. Enforcement is expected to begin April 2027.
Venues with 800+ capacity fall under the Enhanced Tier, which requires specialist security measures. SafeHall identifies your tier and directs you to the SIA, ProtectUK, and NaCTSO.
SafeHall generates all documentation required by the Standard Tier: vulnerability assessments, documented procedures, training records, and a complete audit trail. All outputs are deterministic and traceable.
